Emilie Autumn, or just short EA. One of the top names in the Gothic and Industrial scene. In just a few years EA has created a whole new sub culture called Victorianindustrial.
After shooting small video’s at her Antwerp concerts, I’ve had the pleasure of working with EA herself, shooting her concert in HD, as well as directing an in depth interview that received media attention from several national newspapers and international music websites.
In just 10 months we have reached 75.000 people with these productions and that number continues to steadily grow every day.
The Asylum Tour: The Gate Part II
On Oct. 27, 2009 The End Records releases the ultimate American version of Emilie Autumn’s entirely self-written/performed/produced double-disc masterpiece as Opheliac — The Deluxe Edition.
This new set features five new and exclusive tracks, live concert footage, video interviews, and album out-takes.
For this release, we captured the third Emilie Autumn Asylum concert in Belgium, called ‘The Gate, Part II’
Shot completely in HD, 15 minutes of this footage will be available exclusively on the Opheliac Deluxe Edition.
Shot with a skeleton crew, we were able to capture the right mood of the concert, both to have a feel of the performance, as having the enjoyment of the show that echoes the vaudeville entertainment of the 30′s.

Holding the Key to the Asylum: An interview with EA
When getting a chance to sit down and talk with one of the most interesting personalities in gothic music, you just want to go the extra mile, and provide the fans with the questions they want to know. We looked at her entire career, starting from the fairytale rock Enchant album, all the way through Opheliac, The Asylum book, and why she is who she is.
Shot in glorious HD, we used the setting of the CC Luchtbal to conduct our interview, that spanned over almost 45 minutes.
