It was about time. For more than a year I am storing the 1080p Star Wars rips I have. (Well, in various formats).

I just watched the beginning of Empire Strikes Back, and I must say, it looks gorgeous. It looks better than a cinema projection even. It’s like I got straight ILM shots or something like that.

And the rumour is that even these are regular upscales (still amazing upscales).

Just imagine when that re-authored Blu-ray set hits. (No, I don’t have any inside intel, but you know what work they put in the DVD project. They won’t just use upscales on the Blu-ray set. It’s called simple logic).

What I do hope is that they fix some of the colour issues that Mike Verta fixed in his ultimate Legacy version.

When I get a hold of all 6 Star Wars movies, I’ll maybe for a review.
